Originally featured in the Richard Cooper Studio 2022 range, Wren with Bluebells is no longer part of the current collection, making this an especially appealing piece for established Richard Cooper collectors as well as bird and wildlife enthusiasts.
Keith Sherwin captures the little wren standing alert with its characteristic upright tail while carrying a delicate sprig of bluebells in its beak. The rich bronze tones of the bird contrast beautifully with the coloured flowers, creating a delightful study inspired by British wildlife and the natural world.
The sculpture is made in solid foundry bronze using the traditional Lost Wax Casting process and individually hand finished with a rich bronze patina. The delicate bluebells are highlighted with artist’s oils, introducing a subtle touch of colour to the composition.
Limited to only 250 individually numbered pieces, this retired design incorporates the sculptor’s cast mark and is supplied complete with its Certificate of Authenticity and Richard Cooper Studio presentation gift box.
